Excellent job on an old car and Grace was lovely. I would use them again and highly recommend them to anyone.
Wash, decontamination, oxidation correction, metal polishing and permanent ceramic coating for horse trailers — priced by the foot, with the wash and decon already in the number. We come to the barn.
A trailer is two jobs in one shell. The outside is oxidised aluminium and road film that polish and coating fix. The inside is urine, manure and wet bedding, and that is a wash-out and sanitise job — which is also when you find out what the mats have been hiding.
We do not coat floors or ramps. Anything a horse stands on needs grip, and a coating is the opposite of grip. Interiors, stall mats and tack rooms are quoted separately — real work, not an add-on.
Prep is separate and always quoted first. Heavy oxidation, chalked gelcoat, corroded aluminium, or a previous coating that has to come off. You get the number before anything starts.
A horse trailer gets the worst of both worlds: marine salt on the outside that keeps working after it dries, and a constantly wet, alkaline environment on the inside.
Prices shown are cash prices. Pay by cash or check and that is what you pay. The card price is shown in grey beside every figure — slightly higher, because card processing costs us that. Nothing is added at checkout either way: both prices are on the page before you book.
Hawaii GET is added at invoice and shown as its own line, at the state maximum visible pass-on of 4.712% (4% state + 0.5% Hawaiʻi County surcharge). Prices on this page do not include it.
Priced on trailer length. Metal polishing is priced per square foot of polished surface, because a trailer with full diamond-plate is a different job from a painted one.
The limit is pitting. If salt has already eaten into the surface, polishing makes it brighter and still pitted. We check and tell you before quoting.
Travel fee $50$52 card past 20 miles outside the Kona district. Gas on this island runs well above the mainland and the run to Waimea, Hawi or Hilo is real time in the truck — that fee goes straight to the technician working your job, not onto the service price. No fee if you drop off at our Kona shop near Magic Sands Beach Park — we give you the exact address when you book. We tell you the travel fee when you book, never when we arrive.
Length times the rate. Check our arithmetic.
Wash, decon, and tar and sap removal are already in the coating figures. Metal polishing is separate, priced per square foot of polished surface.

We are so pleased with the job That Skylar at Zippy Klean did on our car. It was covered in tons of dog hair inside, we thought it would never come clean. He came to our house and worked for hours vacuuming and cleaning the interior and the exterior. It was sparkling inside and out.
I had my truck ceramic coated with Zippy Klean they did a great job. I would definitely recommend Steve and his team. They got me on in short notice and my truck looks awesome! Thanks again Steve
Tell us the length, how much polished metal it has, and where it lives. Photos of the skin and the seams in daylight get you a firm number fast.

Trailers are priced per foot of length: $24.00 per foot for a wash and decon, $30.00 with wax, and $100.00 per foot for Stealth Diamond Borograph ceramic.
A 24-foot two-horse works out to $720 for a wash, decon and wax, or $2,400 coated. A 32-foot four-horse with living quarters is $3,200 coated.
Metal polishing is priced separately, per square foot of polished surface, because a trailer with full diamond-plate and polished skirts is a different job from one with a painted body.
Wash, decontamination, and tar and sap removal are included — the same rule as every other coating we do. They never appear as a separate line item.
Prep is what is extra: heavy oxidation, chalked gelcoat, corroded aluminium, or a previous coating that has to come off. Quoted after inspection, before anything starts.
We do not coat over oxidation. A ceramic locks in whatever is underneath it.
Because a horse trailer combines the two worst things for aluminium — marine salt that keeps working after it dries, and an interior environment that is constantly wet and alkaline.
Outside, salt is hygroscopic: it pulls moisture out of humid air, so a dried salt film on a trailer skin is an active corrosion cell days after you parked. Seams, rivets and the backs of trim pieces are where it bites first.
Inside is its own problem. Urine is alkaline and aggressive to aluminium, and a trailer that is washed out but not dried properly holds moisture in the floor and lower panels. We handle the outside; the inside needs a different conversation.
Interiors, stall mats and tack rooms are quoted separately — they are real work, not an add-on, and pricing them by trailer foot would be dishonest.
We do not coat floors or ramps. Anything a horse stands on needs grip, and a coating is the opposite of grip. No responsible shop will do it.
Tell us what you want done inside and we will quote it properly after looking.
Yes. Metal polishing is priced per square foot: $2.50 for a single-stage polish and $6.00 for heavy oxidation.
Polished aluminium on a trailer is genuinely dramatic when it comes back. It is also the part that goes first here, because salt gets into the grain and the oxide layer never gets a chance to stabilise.
The limit is pitting. If salt has already eaten into the surface, polishing makes it brighter and still pitted. We check and tell you before quoting.
We come to you across West and North Hawaiʻi — most trailer work happens where the trailer lives, because moving one for a detail rarely makes sense.
We need room to work around all four sides and a few hours. Waimea, Kohala and the Kona side are routine for us.
There is a $50 travel fee past 20 miles outside the Kona district, and it goes straight to the technician.
Stealth Diamond Borograph is permanent on trailer aluminium and gelcoat as it is on paint, with 10+ year protection and a written warranty.
It still needs rinsing. The coating makes the rinse work — salt and road film come off with water where they need chemicals and effort on bare aluminium.
A trailer that lives outside uncovered near the coast will test any coating. If that is yours, talk to us about a rinse schedule rather than assuming the coating handles it alone.
Waimea, Kohala, Kona and every barn in between. Book your spot.
