Do gift certificates expire?
No. They have no expiration date and they do not lose value over time.
Hawaiʻi law restricts expiration on gift certificates, and beyond that we simply do not think a gift should come with a clock on it.
If you bought one years ago and found it in a drawer, it is still good. Bring it in.
Can someone else use it?
Yes. Gift certificates are transferable — whoever holds it can redeem it.
We do not require the original purchaser to be present, and we do not ask who bought it.
What can it be used for?
Anything on the price list — a detail, a coating, the maintenance program, add-ons, boats, bikes, trailers, aircraft. There is no restricted list.
It applies against the card price of whatever is redeemed, and anything over the face value is just paid normally.
If the service costs less than the certificate, the balance stays on it. We do not zero out the remainder.
Is there a discount for buying one?
Gift certificates are sold at the cash price — there is no card uplift on a gift certificate purchase, and the full face value still applies against the card price when it is redeemed.
So a $500 certificate costs $500 and is worth $500 against any card-priced service. That is a small built-in advantage and it is deliberate.
What amounts can I buy?
Any amount you like. The common ones are $100, $250, $350, $500 and $1,000, but we will write it for whatever figure you want.
If you are buying toward a specific service, tell us which one and we will tell you the current price so you can cover it exactly.
A full detail on a medium vehicle is $350. A month on the maintenance program is $262 / mo.
How do I buy one?
Online through the gift shop, or call and we will sort it out in a couple of minutes.
Online gets you something you can forward immediately. Calling gets you something we can tailor — a specific service, a particular amount, a note.
Either way, (808) 201-6005 reaches us seven days a week.
